To spread festive cheer, Sir John Hunt welcomed over 50 senior citizens to our annual end-of-term Christmas meal. The event, filled with warmth and joy, provided an opportunity for students and staff to honor the elder members of our community, including some retired staff!
Guests were treated to a delightful four-course meal prepared by the school’s catering team, showcasing seasonal favorites. Adding to the festive spirit, Santa made a surprise appearance, distributing thoughtful gifts to each guest. Our Year 11 prefects waited on our guests giving them 5 star service.
The highlight of the evening was a series of musical performances by number of our talented students, who sang Christmas classics and played festive tunes. The seniors expressed their gratitude, praising our students’ talent and the event's heartwarming atmosphere.
“This tradition is a wonderful way to bring generations together and share the joy of the season,” said Headteacher Mrs Bevan. Sir John Hunt looks forward to continuing this cherished event in the years to come.
