We are delighted to welcome our new Year 7 students, who have made an impressive start since joining us in September. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn have been truly inspiring, and they have quickly settled into the rhythm of secondary school life. It’s wonderful to see them embracing new opportunities and forming friendships across the year group. Their positive attitude has set a fantastic tone for the year ahead, and we are excited to see all they will achieve.
We also want to highlight the efforts of the newly formed Year Group Council. These dedicated students have been actively involved in ensuring their peers feel supported and heard during this important transition. They have expressed their gratitude to the school for the warm welcome and the resources that have made their move from primary school so smooth. In particular, they have highlighted the wide range of clubs, the well-stocked library, and the introduction of exciting new subjects as some of their favourite aspects of secondary school life.
The Year Group Council’s feedback has been invaluable, and we are pleased to see how engaged and proactive our Year 7 students have been in making their voices heard. We are confident that this cohort will continue to grow, thrive, and make the most of all the wonderful opportunities our school has to offer. Well done, Year 7!
